Borrowing. language__Ilokano palakól is almost certainly a language__Tagalog loan. Similarly, Schlegel (1971) gives language__Tiruray felakul as a borrowing from language__Tagalog. Whatever the source of the language__Tiruray word, it is clearly a loan, and the remaining languages all belong to the language__Central Philippines subgroup.
