Also Isneg iddé ‘this, here’, Maloh indiʔ ‘this, these’, Acehnese hideh ‘yonder, over there’, Old Javanese iri ‘particle with prepositional function = í, Tae' inde ‘this, here’. This item, ultimately analyzable into *i ‘generic marker of location’ + *di, apparently was a third person demonstrative, in contrast to *itu. Under this interpretation, however, reflexes meaning ‘this; here’ in Isneg, Tagalog, and Moken remain puzzling.
