This comparison has a suspiciously narrow distribution if taken as evidence for a PPh reconstruction. Moreover, Maranao oiag may reflect *biaR, and Tiruray uyag could be a Danaw loanword. Nonetheless, at least Manobo (Western Bukidnon) uyag and Tboli kuyag appear to be non-borrowed cognates which occur in members of different first-order subgroups of the Philippine languages.
